About

Clio Isadora is a London based cartoonist and illustrator, originally from Manchester but raised in North Tyneside. She is of Burmese and British heritage. After graduating from BA Graphic Design at Central Saint Martins, she started self publishing risograph comics and exhibiting at comic festivals. Her work is goofy, cynical and often themed around labour, identity and rotting.

In 2021 Clio’s first graphic novel Sour Pickles was published by Avery Hill. She is currently working on her second graphic novel, which will be out sometime in 2026 published by Avery Hill.
